Michelin Star Restaurants in Chicago
By Cassanda Tidwell
Visiting Chicago anytime soon? Check out their exquisite restaurant Avenues. Avenues ranges from $50 and up, but the price is worth it. They were rewarded four stars and AAA five diamonds, and the chef de Cuisine Curtis Duffy, spices up this restaurant with his amazing dishes. His experience working for other top named restaurants, such as Charlie Trotter’s and Trio, really puts Avenues above and beyond. Contemporary American food is served here, including a variety of salads, from Pierrot field greens to Chicago steak salad; French sandwiches, from shrimp croissant to grandma’s cage-free egg sandwich; French style flat breads, from Swiss to wild mushroom, and large dishes including lamb Sheppard pie and chicken pot pie. They have a different soup for each day of the week, ranging from French onion to lobster bisque. This restaurant is definitely worth the price!
